For structures that require even more substantial protection, we offer Miami-Dade high velocity hurricane zone (HVHZ)-rated vents approved for regions most susceptible to extreme damage. This includes the Florida Keys and the state’s Broward, Miami-Dade and Coastal Palm Beach counties.
How did we obtain HVHZ and Florida product approval? Our team worked closely with outside testing facilities, third-party evaluators and validators, pushing our products to — and past — their limit. Accessories underwent extensive wind uplift, driven rain and large missile-impact testing that mimicked storm scenarios. The goal was to see what they were capable of withstanding, and to ensure they offered proper protection.
Today, our company undergoes annual audits during which an outside agency analyzes our quality assurance manual and manufacturing procedures to ensure the products can stand up in extreme weather conditions.
